There’s a reason why people search all over for a peaceful spot to rest, regroup, and recharge themselves (and their weary minds.) Unlike what the media will pitch to us, peace (and freedom) can’t be bought from a store, ordered online, or even received as a gift from our special someones.

No matter how much money we have to spend, good intentions to share, and love we desire to give…physical, material goods won’t cut it.

Don’t get me wrong, gifts can be beautiful expressions of love.
