No duty is more urgent than that of returning thanks. Ambrose

This week it’s been a challenge to cultivate and nurture a thankful heart.

Not that I don’t have loads to be thankful for, I do.

I was just reminded how much we have to lose this week.

Economically.
Politically.
Socially.
Medically.
Emotionally.

The single area I’m convinced where we will gain is spiritually.

Because when times get tough people finally accept their limitations.

Economically.
Politically.
Socially.
Medically.
Emotionally.

And historically, people turn to for the first time or revisit their faith again during these times of hardship.

So while I’m still nursing some sadness and sorrow, I can already feel myself gaining new ground…and I’m full of hopeful expectation despite what the naysayers are well…saying.
