I look to see if they’re smiling.
Without even thinking, I look to see what kind of mood they’re in and whether or not it’s going to be an “easy” conversation filled with lighthearted talk and laughs…or a “tense” conversation where I’m going to have to tread lightly.
There is so much good about smiling (for the person who is doing the smiling and the person on the receiving end of one.)
It puts me at ease.
It puts you at ease.
It makes us both feel better (inside and out.)
And that’s a fact. A scientific fact.
But don’t take my word for it.
Take the next 7 and 1/2 minutes to listen to Ron Gutman share the science behind a smile.
It will be the happiest 7 1/2 minutes of your day. Promise. 🙂

Then smile for all you’re worth.
